Decrypting Secrets (SSE vs. Client-Side E2EE)

Standard secrets created via the API or backend (is_e2ee: false) are returned decrypted automatically. For Zero-Knowledge End-to-End Encrypted secrets (is_e2ee: true), the API provides raw AES-GCM ciphertext and IV envelopes. Client applications derive the 256-bit AES key from the Master Password using PBKDF2-SHA256 (600,000 iterations) to decrypt payloads locally.
